d16y8 intake manifold......TINY VACUUM PORT

ok so down on the backside of the IM there is a tiny little vacuum port. on the honda diagram the part number is B-23-10. I've got no idea where it goes, but seeing as it was a huge vacuum, i plugged it and it fixed my idle problem. my iacv cel is still on, but....



does anyone know where this intake vacuum port attaches to?

The large one as noted goes to your Brake Booster, now the small one to the left Im not sure if that is a vacuum connection or not. I dont do much work on SOHC anymore and its been a while. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that one.

i found out that it is actually the vacuum port for the cruise control, according to a few HT sources and diagrams.

Correct. I had to plug it up when I removed my cruise control system for a while.

i removed my cruise control but when i plug the vacuum port for the cruise control my car bogs down and the rpms drasticly drop does anyone know why this might be?
