Gloss black steelies with polished lip

so i have wanted new rims for a while and i've heard about people rockin steelies so i figured i'd give it a shot. tell me what you think. ive only gotten one done so far.

I tried gloss black + chrome lip in the summer. Looked like ass especially since I wasn't lowered.

Your attempt isn't bad though.

I wouldn't bother. Just paint them black and slap the hub caps on.

doesn't look bad, I think if you had a drop it would look much better. props for keeping the lip crome. I've never actually seen that done with stock steelies.

Dosent look bad, but that "polished lip" is just bare steel right? That will rust very quick I would think.

I rattle canned mine flat white lol. Didn't look bad but there some rust starting to peak through now since I did it quick (it was cold outside lol)..

(don't mind the dirty car, impossible to keep clean on salty roads)

thanks guys. i havent gotten around to putting clear coat on it yet and i already knew it was going to start rusting but dad has been an a*****e so im hoping to put the clear coat on today. thanks for the comments and bump this so i can hear what everyone has to say. im really curious about your comments. thanks again

i ONLY like the steelies look on 4th gen hatchies and older integs other that just put hub caps or get Si's or fat fives etc.....

rock em only in the winter and save up for rims and nice tires thats what I did. Im rocking the tiger paws in the winter but it doesn't look bad for steelies

You do know they make chrome rings that snap onto the rim, right...?

pretty sure u need to buy a hot rod and leave the hondas to us...

That looks terrible... leave them as is, or better yet put on some clean hub caps.
