Just purchased this one owner senior owned 2000 clean civic, garage kept, 102k Arizona owned. Runs sweet! Paid $2100 having timing belt changed tomorrow with water pump and serviced, question? Would you feel comfortable taking this on a 1000 mile upcoming road trip? Gets such great mileage , thanks for your comments

100% would take it on a road trip. Especially after you just had the timing belt and water pump replaced.

Just do another overall inspection for any leaks before you head out. My first car was a 1998 Honda Civic LX, wish I still had that car. Sedans look good modified and believe it or not they perform well on track due to the extra reinforcement in the midsection of the unibody that gives it a little more natural stiffness.

Thank you! The engine compartment is so clean! Hard to believe it’s 24 years old , I have a newer pilot and the gas mileage isn’t the best, this is going to be my main drive in town,
