EM1s are great looking, all around well performing cars. They come with the good stuff out of the box that Honda enthusiasts build upon. The 99-00 Si however remains a lightning rod of sorts that attracts loads of positive and negative comments.
However, all that being said the EM1 could've been better, what Honda or any other car for that matter couldn't be? Clean EM1s are becoming more and more scarce and well executed ones even more so.
I had the pleasure of taking a few photos of one such "improved EM1". Please allow me to share.
The way it should've came:
OEM Aero is classic (no droopy low riding CF nonsense here):
Properly lowered stance:
OEM emblems always look classy:
Tell me you wouldn't order one new in '99 if this rim and color combo was in the Honda brochure?:
Extended studs and Azenis are sexy:
f**ker drove too fast to get a proper photo Oh well:
I laid on the ground for this one:
All the necessary front end hardware:
In closing, let's save the hate and show some love for an EM1 that interprets what many enthusiasts would agree as the EM1 that "Honda should have built, but didn't".
