I have noticed, that all kids in high school that are into cars, all they want is Turbo! its the coolest thing to have and is the fastest. I just don't understand. I'm glad i wasn't like that in high school. I did have a boosted car at one point but it wasn't the greatest thing in the world. And it wasn't much faster than my NA Honda, if it was at all. I'm just saying you kinda seem like all the people i knew in school who worshiped Turbo. It gets kinda pathetic.

well the whole goal of highschool is to have the fastest car.....honda + turbo = fast!

turbo is cool and gives your motor a lot of power, but you should respect other peoples opinions. NA is nice because of the reliability, instant power and ease of driving. some like that over max power output.
And from what i remember in high school HONDA=gay. what kind of slutty 17year girl old wants a guy with a beat up old civic with red wheels. Ganenteed in high school all the kids want mustangs or EVO's

im with slowcivic eg all the car kids at my school just want to turbo there s**t cuz its soo much faster
well my friend with a black eg did build a single cam and it blew up 3 weeks later now hes going all motor. it was fun while it lasted but was a big pain in the ass to keep up on>

not if you build the motor first and get a good tune for it....it should have no probs

you clearly have no personal experience with any type of builds. This is your first build isnt it? You put a turbo on a stock ZC, and i'll bet you a paycheck you couldnt beat a stock h22 hatchback by more then a car.

Yea, it will definitely be faster once everything is built, boosted and done. But eventually you will learn that there is more to a car then pointing it in a direction, slamming the gas, and driving straight down a line. Thats why i have a k-series. K-Series is much better for DRIVING. not just drag racing.

BTW, i'd probably beat you. :lol:

And turbos do NOT belong on Hondas. Honda knows that. Thats why they dont do it in the factory. And the RDX is not a good example. its an SUV with a turbo installed for efficiency. Read a little more, before you write back.

yep, now i agree with you my friend. NA is always gonna be best. EF Honda EF and I did a junkyard kit on his CRX before we swapped a high HP NA motor in it, the boost was ok, but not nearly as nice as NA. Your buddy with the black EG is a cool kid.

quarter mile times show nothing on how you would do in a race on the street. well maybe give an idea of how close it will be but it takes more skill to get a good track time than to race on the street

i will never run slicks. and i'll probably only run the 1/4 mile once. That stuff is a joke. Thats not even "driving"

i dont care about your track time. and it wont mean s**t to your high school buddies either.

You shouldnt even worry about it. Cuz the kid that sits next to you in computer class has a mustang that can run low 13's in the 1/4mile you'll probably smoke them on the street.

FWD is not for the drag race track....

i agree with you thats how my highschool is i was that way for a while but im researching and realizing the benifitts of a na honda.. i hang with all the kids like that at my school but boy they piss me off they are all ricer except me.. i went through it for a little but im over it.. my car is still riced out to some but i have made improvment recently.. to chaos good luck on the build i have been watchin this for a while i will be happy to see results

Chaos. Read what the general consensus is of these people. Boost is alright. But you'd get a lot more respect all motor.

I like saying "No excuses." The boosted guys ALWAYS have excuses. "I had a boost leak." "My wideband is messing up." "I'm not running full boost tonight." "boost spiked and my engine is toast." They keep going.

But theres no excuses when you are running against an NA car. Because no matter how much of a boost leak you have, you wont have less then me. But i'll still walk right by you.

Good crispy throttle response of a built N/A motor feels great, especially w/ the lowest tranny you can get your hands on resonably, An good N/A build will be faster than turbo cars with about 50 more horsepower. Now I'm not talking about having a turbo single cam and then a turbo d15, but a much more extensively moddified car. Turbo is cool, but major headaches, even when it is done right you will have to worry about a lot of external factors to worry about. I think you should quit arguing with them, you are apparantly getting mad about it, and now they can only do it for fun now. Good luck on the build and might want a good tune for 250 whp. I can see about 190 whp in your future reliably, maybe you could get the 250, but it is a bit high and you will probably cook you ancient D series if you arent careful. Stickers are a bit much though,expecially when they all say the same thing. Just my .02 don't get mad.

lol yea but the guy didnt have a i <3 my ed so i had to get the ef....o well, no one knows what my car is except you guys lol

my tune is good up to 22psi....turbo1.5 from turbod16.com made me a good tune to start off with for my zc....i have a 2.5bar map sensor im going to be using but im only tryin to push around 15psi.......i have 450cc injectors so they'll max out at around 300whp....plus the turbo is going to max around 250whp so it doesnt really matter lol....im just going to run the turbo at 15psi until i can get new injectors and a new turbo so i can run 22psi....

but im just saying if there was a competition on who could make the most power between a NA or Boosted car im sure the boosted car would win with no doubt.....thats the bad thing about NA is you can only make up to a certain amount of power....with boost you can just keep cranking up the boost till you make the power you want......(considering the motors built and blah blah blah)

you sound EXACTLY like a DSM guy. You should skip the guesswork and just buy a 91 Eclipse. seriously, they would like you more, you'd probably like them back.
