Supercharger? does this really work at all?

there is this "supercharger" thing on ebay that claims to give a 10% increase in hp and a 30% increase in gas mileage. Does anybody know if it actually works at all or is it just a rip off? i dont really care so much about the hp gain but if it increases fuel efficiency at all then i guess it's worth it.

plain and simple the answer would be "no" no little fan in your intake is going to have enough force to actually cause boost, especially since it has a filter on the other side of it, its impossible. its not even powered, its just in there spinning.... >>
