I finally have had the time to take the engine out and apart and have come across this stuff.


Firewall side of engine


Front of engine motor mount (Hint: the hole in the center of the picture is not supposed to be there)

I have come to the conclusion that it overboosted like a mofo. The temperature changed quickly which caused my duty cycle on my boost controller to be off. It was already overboosting a bit and I adjusted it but in the wrong direction which caused it to overboost more (in the area of 1.2bar or 17.5psi).

do those holes increase compression? i need to get that done to my motor soon too :thumbup:

And there's more carnage I have yet to uncover. It looks like it chopped right through the crank girdle too :shock:
