All the talk on another thread (classifieds thread) gave me the idea to start a thread like this.
I know its still about 2 months away, but those who love to ride are talking already about the up comming season.

So, what plans does everyone have? Going anywhere good? getting new stuff? Got anything to share about last season? Post it up!

And I know this is off-topic, but any negative comments like "snowboarders suck" or anything along those lines will be dealt with by me.

Might do a road trip to WA and board along the way in my dads camper, we were talking about it today, doing a 2 week trip, would be fun as hell!

damn, that would be the s**t.

We're doing our annual Lutsen Boozathon, but some of us were talking Whistler. I gotta make it there this year. I got a REALLY heavy riding jacket this year, all i need is a new pair of boots and im set.
Might get a new board, but I dont need one.

I had burton twin custom154...But they are too thick for me to even go down the slope. I decided on Morrow clutch 154 with the matching bindings...board. It's a little cheaper than any boards, but I love the way it rides.

I can't wait, my favorite spot is Sierra Tahoe, but I always start with Boreal and Bear Valley. Hopefully I can make it to Heavenly and Shasta this year. I heard Kirkwood is great...

wait, not everyone is from California or Nevada here huh? lol

I like Kirkwood! Haven't been there in forever though.

Heavenly is nice, I like Northstar a lil more though but Heavenly is f**kin huge and the views from top are amazing.

im moving to fresno in a few months so i wont be able to go that often this year.

i usually just go to dodge for the day, cheap, fun, and close. cant beat that.

what kind of gear does everyone have?

Where you go? Snoqualame? *sp*

I like Idaho
49 degrees N.
Schwietzer
Silver Mt.
Yeah, I use to go there Snoqualmie every weekend in 04 to 06 and sometimes I'd hit up Mt. Baker.
Haven't been back since 06's season.

Breck is on the to-do list I can't believe I havent been there either, Winter Park is wild not too crowded (unlike Vail) and its not too expensive. Its easy to get to from Denver and it has a section titled "Mary Jane", def take advantage of that

Hit up Ore Bucket at Breck, probably my favorite run on any mountain I've been on, Fresh powder perfectly spaced tree's 2 powder bowls with steeep entrances. It's all the way on the right side of the mountain. God my heart is racing thinkin bout it!
