Really? I'd rather have an RS6 Avant or an C63 AMG Wagon...

i do realy like them but the evo is better imo and my dream car is a evo 9 mr in gunmetal so the wagon just made it better.

I can understand (somewhat) the EVO being your dream car. But I'm wondering what could possibly be you're reasons (other than price) for saying that the EVO is better?

its that i like to dream with in reason, i could afford it with a good job, i have two kids ,i would not have to mod the car because they are fast as is, i dont need a Ferrari or any other super high end car to make me happy.

Not to be anal or a douche or anything, but how does that make it better as a car than both of those?

I understand they cost a lot (but so does your EVO after import and registration fees), but we're talking dream cars after all. You stated (in your opinion) that the EVO was a better family car, back up your statement.

(Also, I'm not trying to start a flame-war, just a civil discussion)

well thats what im saying in my opinion i like it and if it does cost to much to import i would still love to have a evo 9. its a full size car that can be had for a fair price, granted i would love to have a lambo or something but i have my eyes set on my evo, also i think of my family in all this to. I have liked the evo ever since they came to America and to see one in a station wagon is just that much better to me and thats all that counts. I know your not starting anything but in my view that car is my fav.

^ To each his own I guess. For me, the RS6 and E63 AMG hand the EVO it's ass on EVERY aspect minus price.

that benz is ugly as sin. and i would never willingly drive an audi. that right there is reason enough to pick an evo over both of those cars.

when i buy a car i plan on driving it, not looking at it broken down in my garage, THAT is why i am not a german auto enthusiast. germany had their heads shoved so far up their asses when they decided they wanted to try and make cars. FAIL.

LOL, while I will admit that Mercedes is only starting to improve in reliability, I can't say the same for Audi. An Audi especially that one, is going to last a lot longer than that EVO.

Key word: dealer.

All I hear from people I know that deal with dealerships is that they suck and try to squeeze every penny out of you. Hell even places like Good Year. I went to get new tires and the guy was like, "we noticed your camber is off by a lot. Would you like an alignment?". I go "no, I'm good, I don't need one". Then he starts lecturing me on how I need one and my tires are going to wear out really fast. He told me this story where this guy came in every 2 weeks for a new tire because his camber was so bad. Uhh okay dude. It's been over a month since I got my tires and they're still wearing evenly.

My friend had an early 2000 Audi A4 Quattro. The only thing he had to change was a wheel bearing out of the maybe half-a-year he owned it. Never had a problem otherwise. It had over 140k miles too IIRC.

Ive had problems with audis' as well. Had a A4 for about 4 years, and I seriously had to put like $2k in repairs every year besides normal maintenance.
