Ryan, I get off from work at 2:15pm that day. It's actually down the road from One6, which I need to see if I can pick up a surprise christmas gift for the hubby from him.

This topic seems to be where all the locals are. So i guess i'll try asking in here what i was trying to ask in another thread.
"My brother and I moved to Orland Park from Orlando FL. back in October. Since then we havent gone out much with our cars to any meets or anything of that sort. I need an idea of where I can bring my car to for an engine build and tuning. Where does everyone go to around here? I need some suggestions on where to check out. I want to go somewhere where it's reasonably priced and the work is guaranteed. Do any of the shops around here have alot of experience with that kind of thing? I'm trying to build my k20a2 for high hp all motor. My brother is also looking to get some work done and some tuning for his b20vtec ek. Thanks in advance! "

this is the thread for local outings and stuff. wethere is meets, or just hangout and people with common intrest. most of the shops are out in the suburbs, i know of three shops pretty well, two of them have workd on my car and i've ordered parts through them.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome everyone! That's real awesome of you guys to make me feel at home here. I'll definitely check out those shops in the directory. I did already go to 2 places last month. FIrst place i went to was TopSpeed right by Chinatown and it just doesnt seem like the kind of place i want to be at. The other place was OneSix in the suburbs. My brother found out about it and the place has everything. We ended up getting a replacement air filter and a some spark plugs from them. I talked to the main guy there about rebuilding my setup and i wasnt too confident in his answers. Real nice people over there but they dont seem to be into the hardcore performance end of things. Back in Florida i would either head over to CFT, TItan or LHT to get awesome results. I'll look into the other shops listed. I've heard of TopSetup since they had the touge battle civic a while back. Next week i'll make it a mission to try and stop by some of the shops listed to see who can handle the work. Thanks again everyone, you'll be seeing me around!
