Im out of school now, I went to St. John's University up near St. Cloud. My car was jacked outside of Har Mar mall in Roseville off Snelling at 12:00 in the afternoon If u need any help de-ricing/saving your civic lemme know dood

Thanks for the offer, I'll def be needing help down the line with the de-riceing. I'm excited to work on this car. I want to do a 00 front end conversion, new rims, slam, SI sideskirts, 00 rear bumper. Interior: paint vinyl black and install black carpet. I'm coming from the benz scene so this will be interesting to get my hands on actually do work myself.

I'm just worried about the car being stolen after I put in all the money/work.

im not sure what the guy there with the hatch is tring to pull, but it looks something like what the euro guys do. to my knowledge, thats a new style that's starting to take off..you'll see it alot of oldschool vw and bmw's doing that look. what they do is , they strip their hoods, apply some brass and let it weather in for a few days. brass doesnt rust, it tarnishes, which is just a layer of brass without luster. once the hood's have gone from shiny lustery brass layer to a warpy tarnshy layer, but not to the point were they will corrode, they get clear coated. its a unique thing i suppose, im going to post you a very nice picuter in juat a few.

thats before he got it clearcoated, ive seen them clearcoated and they look good. its something really diffrent, i ve only seen it mostly on oldschool ones, it looks good, imo.
there you go shane, you see those picture jay posted, thats what i was talking about.. i couldn't find the article, but its off a bmw forum. that car there is pretty dope looking to me. some euro guys go all out on originality and uniqueness. the guy who owns that beamer made hs own roof rack as you can see too.. he made it of wood and bolts. i read the thread and like always, you have your haters, and lovers. you gota remmeber, these are american tunners that use udm styles, not a huge diffrence from us, but there is noticeable diffrences in styles like this one.

I like the artsy fartsy look of the hood (w/all the swirls and color) but the lack of clear coat is gross. I would love to see one after cc

If someone else has any better idea for a hang out spot this saturday afternoon/evening, please post. As of right now it looks like Buffalo Wild Wings in Skokie (our usual spot) is the winner for it's parking and chill atmosphere. If you know of somewhere else where we can park our cars without worrying the whole time, is a cool place to hang out and drink a few beers, and is cheap (only reason I didn't want to do it @ BWW), then please throw up your suggestion. Otherwise, BWW @ 4:30ish? Is that cool with everyone?

Oh and for the record: Rusted hoods are hideous and gay!
