Tail of the Dragon...US 129

Its been a while since I posted anything but anyway...A friend of mine from the JDM Coupe Council website met up for a run down the "Tail of the Dragon." Here are a few pics from our run. I own the EBP EM1 but was taking the photos so I didnt drive much...Enjoy.

And so we began...US 129 "Tail of the Dragon" 11 miles and 318 turns.

Yeah, I wasnt really all that happy with any of the still shots but whatever. Thanks for the comments and as for the gas...I drove almost 9hrs to meet up and do the drive so I ran a couple tanks

ive thought about going down to drive that, but i would either crash into the mountain or fly off a cliff...

There were only a couple of TN troopers up there. I saw more cops on my way from VA to TN...mostly in NC on I-40. As long as you keep it cool they are good...if you look at the Tail of the Dragon website they actually break the law more than the people that make the run. Its a safe drive as you cannot really get to crazy out there...unless you are on a bike.

i was going to run the tail this past summer but my buddies backed out

im in charleston so its a good little trek from the beach to the mountains... maybe this coming summer ill get another chance
