So Hoegaarden is good? I saw that at Publix the other day and it piqued my interest (mainly because of its name. lol)

On aother note, How do beers with higher alcohol content taste? Do they taste like liquor or do they still taste like beer?

High-gravity beers taste hoppier and more bitter. Like, it could be a lager and taste more like a thick IPA because of the grain content.

My favorite purchases are the taster packs. Friday I picked up a beers of belgium taster pack with Abby du Lefe, Hoegaarden, and Stella (meh) and a Unibroue taster pack with La Fin du Monde, Maudite, Don De Dieu, and Trois Pistoles.

Sleeman's taster pack are pretty decent too, the white is great for summer.

I've been drinking some Oregon beers lately though. Mirror pond pale ale by Deschutes brewery and Rogue dead guy ale have been a staple over the last couple weeks.

I'm counting down the days for a seasonal from Pete's Wicked ale. Their Rally Cap ale is one of my favorites.

I'm enjoying Blue Moon's newest -- Rising Moon. Very very lemony and hoppy. It's like a super smooth IPA.
