It seems Mini-trucks has the about the same MPG as their big brother's. I thought they would actually be a little better. Kind of messed up. so yes Chevy Colorado is 5th of 7th in the ranks. Because Toyota and Nissan are so expensive these days, I'm gonna go with the Dodge Dakota, ranked at 3rd.

damn right you just smacked me right on the mouth...i think my tooth is lose. I f**kin love the colorado too. If that's the case, I might as well go with a full size silverado then. I don't want a crew cab...it has to be a 4 door. I'm used to a 17mpg. lol...my old yukon was like that.

and if not the colorado, Then what mini truck (that's 4 door) and like a colorado would you recommend?

i agree with you on the colorado's styling its an awesome looking truck, i really like how the s10s look too.

yea unless its a 4cyl these days they do much better than their fullsize brothers, although ive heard reports of people with 02 and newer ranger 4l v6 4x4s with manuals pulling 23 hwy .... dakotas are cool but also low on the mpg side

if i were to go fullsize id go silverado ... especially buying new, cant argue with 21mpg .... although ford just came out with a new f150 called the SFE (super fuel economy) ... 4.6l v8 also capable of 21 hwy, but i think thats 2wd only.
