Nice little setup. Best suggestions I can give you- ditch the Scientific Atlanta 3100HD cable box, and get the newer 8300HDC (unless you don't want a DVR) I take it you have comcast?
Other than that, a little ventilation will go a long way, thermal management FTW. If you want anymore ideas on how to improve what you have, PM me.

Comcast is coming with my new cable box Monday. The space is tight but there are two 120mm fans on the back of the entertainment center cycling air.

:ok: Always good to have ventilation! I've seen too many pieces lost to heat, and even more to surges. If you don't have one already, look into a Furman power conditioner. BTW- most cable boxes vent mainly from the top.

f**k comcast right now, im on my second cable box and my s**t is still on screwed up.. picutre going in and out every 30 seconds gets really annoying

anybody has any ideas let me know lol
