lol i know there are zero parts for my car down here.. every wrecking yard has nasty american cars and thats about it. i cant find cheap parts with out driving 120 miles to get to them and it starts loosing its Cheapness. Although ive heard alot of honda theft in chicago so....id be sorta afraid of that to.

unless you're getting the car for free, I wouldn't mess with it.. I'd rather pick up a crx with a rebuilt title then to mess with someone else's project

chicago is not as bad as you think. there are definitely some places that i would be afraid to drive through, but there are a lot of places around chicago and the chicagoland area that i would feel comfortable parking my car at. just hang out with us and we will show you the ropes.

ahh more reassurance why I didn't get an S2000 i hear about s**t like this more often then I'd like

So today at about 9AM on my way to work i was cruising down the highway when i came to my exit... i havent driven the car hard at all i bring it into vtec a couple times a day but do not beat the s*it out of my car. My car stopped running and all dash lights came on when i came to a stop at the light. i proceeded to push it across the street into a parking lot thinking it might just be something simple... i was wrong. My first thought was it could be a fuel pump becuase i did not hear it come on when i switched the key to accessory and figured might be that since the engine would turnover and all plugs in the motor bay (spark plug wires, alternator wires, etc) where plugged in. i procedded to have the car towed to my local honda dealership where after 5 hours they got a chance to look at it. Then came the bad news they said it sounded like a bottom end problem and that most likely the motor will need to be replaced:confused: For anyone who knows could the spark plug recall have caused a massive engine failure becsaue i was planning bringing it in to have it taken care of later this week....:tongue6: my car has 76,000 miles on it and i check the fluids weekly in it and it has a good clean oil in it. Any ideas?????? im at a loss for words at this point just got the car 3 weeks ago
