:x so my car got jacked out of my girlfriends driveway on friday night. it was locked, all windows were shut and cars all around me. i was the only person who locked my car that night. nothing else was missing but my car. i left at 11:15pm and my girlfriends brother had a fire and went it at around 12:30. we got back at 2:15 and my car was gone!!!! she lives on a dead end road down an alleyway. you woud have to take a great deal of time and effort to even find my car let alone steal it. i was freaking out and had a few to drink that night so i thought maybe i had parked in the front of her house. looked and nope, no car. called the cops and about 40 minutes later they showed up. great timing. filed the report and described my car and all and they left. i thought for sure would never see my car again. well the next day i got a call around 4pm and was told my car was at the impound lot. i thought, great its stripped, theres no way in hell they would go through all that trouble for nothing. got to the lot and saw my car... they had taken my grille, my side skirts, my carbon fiber intake, subs, deck, 2 amps, checks, bank statements, pay check stubs, and some other things with my address on them. i was suprise my motor was still there and my car ran. tried to sit in the seat and it was so far forward i couldnt get my knees in. so i figured it was a short little asian kid. the back of the ignition was popped off where 3 of the wires connect to and my steering column had been cracked. no broken glass and they didnt steal my rims, suspension or motor. i threw a paper towel over my intake with a hose clamp they left me and drove it home. it doesnt even feel like the same car anymore. i know how people feel when their homes have been broken into and they end up moving since they dont feel safe there anymore. however i marked the parts that were stolen such as the grille and the side skirts. so if they put them on their car i will be able to prove they are mine. unless the skirts are painted. or they paint the mesh on the grille which would look horrible if they did that. as for the carbon fiber intake? my uncle molded that for me. there is no other intake like it, i know exactlywhat it looks like and have many pictures of it. so if i ever see that again i will know it is mine. man this sucks i am installing a bulldog alarm system i got for 10 bucks. it is brand new. has keyless entry and an immobilizer built in but no horn. i can wire lights into it using a relay but i cant figure out how to setup a horn sysem on it. i have a horn from another car that was from a python alarm system coul hardwire in if i could find out how to make it work. what im trying to ask is if there is any way to wire a horn into this system it is the bulldog securty 1702. all i need to do is find a power source from the system that is triggered when the alarm is tripped. i cant use the immobilizer wires since when the car is locked the immobilizer is set. so if i used the wires powering the immobilizer the alarm would constantly be on when the immbilizer is. im stumped and short on cash since all this happened and am trying to get my car back to normal. if anyone has any input on this feel free to respond!! F*CK THEIVES :x:x:x:x:x:x:x:x

I'm pretty sure all cars are fairly easy to steal, people just want hondas for part outs and s**t like that.

Fuel cut switches are not a bad idea, but not the best.

As it's very obvious when a fuel pump doesnt prime, then they instantly know whats up.

You'd be better off with a kill switch on dizzy power so the motor doesnt get spark. Another good idea (believe it or not) is wiring hidden switches for your running lights/brake lights/head lights. Kinda hard to drive at night without lights, and if they do try it, it'll be easy bait for cops.

It's a car, I wouldn't care. I surprised myself it hasn't been stolen yet.
