i like that there isnt any online achievements. it makes people actually play the game since they spent so much time on it.. i need to finish 4 on veteran, and beat cod5

That's just the thing. I don't want to be made to play a game. If it's good, I should want to play it. There's no need to force the gamers into it. Honestly, I have no desire to replay campaign mode over and over again to grind out achievements. Once is enough.

ps3 has them. they are called awards i believe.

Geterdone is the one who said it makes you do it. Not me. Check the quote in my post.

and yea, PS3 has a trophy system. Kind of interesting in my opinion. Especially because most/all games have a 100% completion type trophy. You can only get that type if you get all of the achievements in the game, so it's cool to see people who have a bunch of those.

Ok either im really dumb or I found a neat way around buying games.

So my buddy recovered his tag onto my xbox harddrive. While it was there i able to play Trials HD and log achievements. Those stayed after he recovered it back to his box. Tho i wasnt able to play the full game without him being on the box.

ALso he downloaded some rockband music onto my harddrive. And i havent tried it yet, but im pretty sure i can play them without him being logged on to my box or anything.

yeah...im pretty sure they have to still be on your 360 for you to play them online, and get achievements. i think they do that so if families want to play, they dont have to buy 3 copies of the same thing.
