the best way to make around 300 whp

Ok so i recently picked up my first honda thats nice enough to alter, so in the near future wanna get the wimpy d series out, cant make up my mind what i wanna swap in, b18c, b16b, k series or some kinda
frankenstein, any advice would be appreciated.

300whp D16 > any other 300whp engine. You'll spend atleast $1000 MORE if you swap engines, and build it to make 300whp. Build the D, and save yourself money

boost, as fas as I'm conerned, is the only way to reach 300whp on a single cam (I have yet to see it done on a high compression build). It's not too far out of reach, but you have to build the internals. In the end, you'll spend less boosting the D-series because you'd have to build the B series for boost too, as well as buy the swap. And bolt-ons are cheaper (in general) for D-series than for B-series. Both have potential, all depends on what you want.

G23 is basically an f23 block with an h22 or h23 head (creating a g23 vtec frankenstein build)...

K20's are over rated, and over priced. For the price of a K20 motor, and the parts to swap it into the chassis, you can build and boost a B-Series and have more power AND torque. Having 6 gears isnt everything.....

your right, they are over rated and maybe overpriced, but The guy asked and he was answered, but thats just my opinion, and everybody has one and everyone else's stinks , right? And who the hell am I? I am just like most other people on here, looking to do something different like owning a honda, and seeing what I can do with it. And thats probably the same thing you did, and the same thing cw 3263 is doing right now.

seriously though. 300whp is EASY to make on a turbo d series. Vitara pistons (120 bucks) and eagle rods with a turbo kit will make it. and you dont have to worry about sleeving block, etc.

there isnt a honda motor that you can put in a civic.. that you can get to 300WHP NA... just not happening... unless mass amounts of money are used... 10k+

up until i started looking into boosting my d i thought they were all the same...wrong
the pockets are hella deep but i do alright, will be better after the house sellls and me and the gf live 2gether
