Okay... So here's a deal.

I can pick up a '99 Civic EX for roughly $3000-3500. Should I do it?

- Milano red (Hood, fenders, f. bumper needs paint though)
- Body is 8 out of 10 (few little dings, no major dents or stuffs like that)
- B18c1 (roughly 80k miles)
- Has a weird "JDM" intake, dc header, andddd stock midpipe w/ no axle back =(
- Sitting on either SI wheels or red GT3's
- Car starts and runs like a champ
- Everything else is stock (interior/exterior wise)
- I can make payments if I wanted to as well...


So what do you guys think? Good pick up? I need a beater/DD while I keep the miles off the Subaru...

Should I should I? I'm exciteddddddd!!!!!

Oh yea and one other thing... All interior lights DON'T WORK (mainly dash/center console, Speedo is the only thing that works)... Should be a simple fix, but I hate f**king with electrical s**t.

Yea, my lady's brother just happened to pick up the car from Arizona a few months ago and used it as a parts car for his car... LOL!

That's true to a certain point... until I start modding it...

I have a feeling if I have this car, I'm going to want to soop it up. And with the money I'm spending now to soop up the STi, I can fund the Civic for a few months and like super soop up the Civic... Especially since it already has a b18 in it...

I was thinking something a long the lines of...

- Hot tanking and treating the block
- Possibly boring it over to 82mm
- Drop in higher comp pistons (and supporting mods)
- Balance the crank (upwards of 11k rpms, I want to rev at to 9500 only though)
- Full pnp head (with oversize valve )
- A nice set of beefier cams (and supporting mods)

Andddd that's it... Slightly bigger pistons/cams, and other little small do dads to get the car running like how it should... Then throw together a nice i/h/e combo, ohhhhh and it already has a skunk2 manifold and bigger TB!!!

I'm excited!
