I work at a homless shelter and what you say is true but damn... they bring in the YUMMIEST donations! It helps tho because they do also donate alot of cash, time and other misc items that get taken for granted. At least they feel good about themselves and I guess that's what matters to them. You do have a few volunteers that come in year around. I guess it better than sitting around the net bitching about it tho.




s**t, I worked yesterday! I may not like the comercial Christmisy bs but at least I made a few people happy by stitting around, throwing some cards and basically just being thurr. I wanted to be there.

I got $565 and some sweaters, t shirts, just some s**t like that. My grandma gave me a sweater that's a medium in mens, well she told me she bought it for me like three years ago (at that time I wore a medium) she thought it would be too big for me then so she kept it until now. I wear a large and extra large now.
