Phoebe Prince was apparently harassed to death by the popular girls at school. Her crime: Dating a senior football player who the popular girls thought was out of her league.....

But what pisses me off, is the girls STILL harassed the girl via Facebook after she committed suicide. f**king losers. And they're ugly. I facebooked them.

She could have, but wouldn't have stopped everything. They were doing it at school, texting her, social networks, IMs, etc.

I think it was the constant harassing that got her, she probably felt she had no where to go where the girls couldn't harass her.

It sucks too, she was cute.

Kids' lives are submursed around the net and anything that has a screen. Computers in school, their cell phones, ipods , iphones, video games, it's just how life is nowadays. But its not technologys fault, its up to how the user wants to use it and take it for what its worth. Teenage depression is always going to be a problem, I went through it and came out victorious. It's a tough time for some to find them self, through all the peer pressures and changes in themselves. I tell my neices and nephews not to take it to heart when someone is being mean to them. They dont have to be friends or even talk to them if they are being made to feel bad or sad about what others think or say. Its tougher to be a kids nowadays compared to when i was growing up due to the technology.

she could have gotten a restraining order, block numbers, block friends on facebook/myspace etc, block them on the IM programs.

she could have even switched school or changed her number...
