raised hood?

anyone know how to make the back end of the hood where the hinges are at raised higher than the front? someone told me that all you had to do was put washers on the hinges? im not doing this to my car but a friend is doing it on theirs and he wanted to know how to do it...any help is appreciated

i thought that was deemed uncool again? ghetto way- washer , longer 10mm, right way, they make spacers with longer bolts, if i was gonna do it, id ghetto rig it, washers and longer 10mm bolts

he has an eg with an h22 with a CF hood that doesnt clear the valve cover...the bottom fram of the hood touches the valve cover...its an easy fix so why not lol
