so, more crappy news today. insurance is wanting to only give me $7948.99 for the car. i'm trying to get the $454 i paid in late april for my new dunlops tires added to the value at least.

Wow, that does seem low what insurance do you have? What are you thinking for the next car?

yeah, super low. i was expecting at least $9k... as for the next car, more than likely another bugeye if i can get one since f**king progressive is lowballing me horribly. i explained to my claims agent that just under $8 grand is not going to pay for a replacement wrx, that they were all going for $9k with comparable miles and condition (pre-crash), but she said they just go off the NADA value of the car. pretty ridiculous.

they still dunno how much buy back will be, but i need to get into another car ASAP... wish i had a few more grand so i could by yours brian.

Yea that unfortunately happens. NADA is the value of the car......but because of its high demand, people sell it for MUCH higher than value. I couldnt even get my hands on an '04 Impreza RS 2.5 for a reasonable price let alone a WRX.....thats why I had to go with another Civic. Regardless, good luck and keep us updated. Sorry about the bad news.
