i went and paid some money on my slim today and he said i should have it by the 16th and they will honor the trade in deal since i reserved it.

I picked up Sniper, currently playing it.
First level impressions.....ehhh. The game is $40, and you definitely get what you pay for. The wind seems to change directions from left to right so quickly that it seems unrealistic, seems to simply test the ability rather than be realistic. Other little things like shooting an enemy in the leg doesnt stumble him, simply alerts him and he turns around to shoot you. Also while crouching you cant walk over small things such as a 3 inch curb, forcing you to stand up.....thus giving away your position. Overall, Im not impressed. I will continue playing and keep you guys posted.

Well all the Blockbusters around me ran out of business.
I got partway through the second level.....it gets a little better once you get a feel for it, and realize it works better to try and flank the enemy. I still wish I had held off a couple days, read the reviews, and put the $40 towards crackdown2.

yeah i bought a new laptop instead of the new 360. i may pick it up later, maybe when the include a few games with it, unless i can sell my elite.
Yea. I was pretty disappointed in it. Trust me, it had the potential to be GREAT. If they had taken more time to tweak the game, and maybe even put a beta out, it could have turned out so much better. The sniping was awesome, and the slow-motion bullet camera never got old. The wind and bullet drop-off was great too. But everything else was just piss-poor, it felt like an old original xbox game. You get spotted SOOO easily, even though you have a ghillie suit on, could be in the shade, and in brush.....they still see you, all they have to do is look your way. There were trippy things like not being able to walk up a curb or small stump while crouched, sometimes couldnt walk up the top of steps. You could shoot someone in the leg with your pistol and they would just turn your way without flinching and shoot at you......not stumble from being shot, not look for you....just turn and shoot you. I see why the game was so cheap, they put NO time into developing the game.
Didnt even try it at all. I suppose it could have been good, but all it will be is people camping and sniping. The worst part of COD made the only option? No thanks. I traded it in because Crackdown2 has co-op up to 4 players, and I have a friend getting it. I love doing campaign co-op, its the balls.
I got my slim and everything transfered over but don't get Internet till Tuesday. My slim is not reading my games though but will play DVDs without problems

Did you read about transfering the liscences?? It said you might have to do this in order to access stuff.
