dude, we were lucky on Saturday. There is always cops on 39th st. looking out for speeders.

lol god was smiling on us that day, i floored it through a tunnel yesterday and a cop must have heard me. He came flying down the on-ramp after I exited the tunnel and followed me for a few miles. Cant believe he didnt pull me over, thats the kind of negative attention I do not want

I think the attention comes past a certain rpm. 4000rpm and above will fo sho cause attention.

We're on the same level, stock exhaust+cai will be good enough for me. Full exhaust is a bit excessive for a dd.

thanks brian! the black RA-URs should be coming in during the weekend. i think the guy shipped them out this morning.

I would except I can't ever find them. Plus, I'm servicing at least 4 cars by myself some times so I don't have time to search for them.

put them on your belt so u always have em handy. if you can't afford em yet, just take it off your first paycheck

debating on whether or not to keep my exhaust (DC 4-2-1, T1R Sparrow catback). It sounds good but I think its a little loud when the top is up...

i think the t1r sparrow sound awesome. do you have the 70mm or the 63mm?my vote is to keep it. as for the header, i say go for a 4-1, the collector shape makes makes a very nice noise just don't go WOT when the cops are around. my car sounds like a raped ape at WOT (ewg venting to atmosphere), but still has a pretty loud rumble for normal driving...

Where are you autoXing? WCMC event the end of the month at TR but i don't think i'll have the tires to run, but maybe i'll spectate if you plan on running.

not sure, probably either TRTT (tire rack test track) or grissom AFB... i haven't paid the SBR-SCCA yet, though. it depends whether i can get a new clutch installed and broken in by then. the 1000 mile break-in period isn't gonna be easy.

also, i've been reading on the NASA Midwest site (www.nasamidwest.com) regarding upcoming road race events. there's a 2-day event at Gingerman (in south haven, mi) late august. it's one of the nicer and safer tracks in our area. it's $310 for both days though ($199 for one day)... it's quite a bit of money. maybe next year.
