What's up? I am from Jersey and I bought my Second Civic a few months ago. I am not new to civic's or to forums. But I was looking for somewhere to learn more about my car. I hope this site will be as helpful as some of the other ones. I also own a 2001 CBR 600F4i, and a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 318.

I bought my civic as is for the most part. I installed the stereo, replaced the headgasket, Replaced the tires, and did a tuneup.

It looks like I blew the oil rings in the No 2 piston, so I will be rebuilding and modding the engine in the spring. I am looking at stroking it to 1.8 raising the compression and putting around a 300 cam in. Plus a light flywheel and HD clutch. And all the supporting mods and such...

welcome sir...dont be suprised if you get bashed for the front bumper.....me i kinda like it...if it fit right.. thinkyou for takeing that wing off didnt like it at all but all and all looks good i like it and good luck on the build and keep us updated on it

yeah i would fix that front end, not feeling the bumper. and since its a si, you wont have to stroke the motor to a 1.8, it already is a 1.8.

false. SI's come with a 1.6

Jersey8 is correct. Mine has a 1.6 B16A2.

The B18 (1.8 liters) Came only came in the Integra GSR in the US I believe.

yup, all the integras came with 1.8's (LS, Type R, not just GSR)

the b18 came the RS/LS/GS for usdm for jdm it came in the SIR and the type-R which i over lol

About the bumper...

I have this thing about fixing s**t that ain't broken. Plus it is kinda growing on me. I am basically going to fiix the 2 small tears in it and the tear int he rear one also. Then I am going to work on the body. There are 3 large dents that need fixing and the hood needs a clear coat badly. I think I will paint it Charcoal Grey or Midnight Blue when it's all said and done. But this is all going to be after next spring. The engine is my first priority.

sorry but si's are 1.6 dohc and gsr's are 1.8 dohc lol. its okay.. hence b16 (b1.6) b18 (b1.8)

damn like 13 people got to it before i did hahah. but honestly YES the front bumper might as well be broken, id drive around with no bumper before i let that thing disgrace my car like that. Do yourself a favor so you dont look like a duesch ricer.. Get a stock bumper, trade that ugly cf hood for a stock on and call it a day. front bumper cover = 50-150 dollars depending on the deal.

I get a little stubborn about not spending money. That's why I want to keep this bumper.

I only have the Nor Cal sticker because I am from Cali, and I gotta represent over here on the East coast! That's the only sticker on there.

craigslist you can get one and normally really cheap. actually i know someone i think trying to sell one, but we live in PA. haha and i know i f**ked up when i said that, i wasnt thinking
