I'm thinking about just buying it, make it run, and selling it off for a couple grand more so I can pay off my school loans luls.

I'm excited to jump back into a Honda! Going to crank that vteccc!

This forum is funny. We have a 5th gen Civic driver who wants to get an EVO, and we have an STi driver who wants to get a 5th gen Civic.

I have an STI, true, but I also want a 5th gen Civic; if I pick up the car, it'll be another in my stable. I'm not getting rid of the STI for a Civic, luls, I'm not a noob... Damn 7th gen drivers!

I don't get why people hate on the 7th gens so much. I think they have just enough styling before the 8th gen alien s**t came along, and doesn't look as ghetto as the 6th gens. Look at the interior, you cannot honestly tell me that the 6th gen interior is nicer.

I've had a 6th gen and a 7th gen so I'm not biased here.

7th gen interior is MUCH nicer IMO.
Yeah the 7th gens are slow but tbh I think they look the best.

And +1 on 7th gens looking good before the 8th gen s**t.

7th gen is the nicest balance of having a nice interior before the Civic got the concept feel to it. To me, the 8th gen is trying too hard to look futuristic. The 7th gen doesn't have a ghetto interior, but doesn't have the futuristic look Honda is moving towards. Stock for stock, for a daily driver, I would take my EM2.

I had a 6th gen and the interior was cheap and shitty.. I mean no worse than a 91 Mustang.. which is equally shitty..... comparing a high end cars interior to 6th OR 7th gen makes them both "cheap"... I mean maybe the 7th gen is marginally nicer? but seriously.. worth noting? not really.. IMO at least.. not talking s**t on civics in general.. I had one for 10+ years and loved it.. but the quality of the interior was not really a strong point..

EXACTLY my thoughts. Also include exterior in this discussion. (7th vs 8th)

I'm really worried that the 9th gen civic's are going to look terrible. I have a feeling they will make it look even more futuristic...

Oh we are talking exterior now? The main difference between the 6th gen and 7th gen.....the tail lights and the body molding. Other than that, they are really similar.

Yeah I agree 6th and 7th are very similar in exterior.

You picked a MUCH better looking 7th gen lol...
And where did those wheels come from on the EM2? They look off...

The condition of the paint shouldn't matter much, I am pointing towards the body lines. And I don't know about the wheels, I was just trying to pick silver coupes from similar angles.

I have a 2003 EX that is manual, red with black interior. I kind of like it. It is okay for being what it is.....a daily car. It is nothing else though.
