i would want it to be right to. I got something really annoying on my car right now to the heater blower motor has gone out so the motor vibrates and makes a godawful loud noise when you turn on the heat or ac im about to order another one though it drives me so crazy.

Yea, a noise like that would make me crazy in a heartbeat, I like normal sounds from my car.

I do to and trust me it does not to mention my gf hates it so i get to hear s**t from the only two things i love.
It will be fixed soon though ordering another one friday hopefully more days like today where i didnt need either heat or ac.

BAD NEWS :=(

I got in an accident today leaving my mom's house, an old guy pulled out of an american legion parking lot at the end of the street my mom lives on & hit my rear driver side door, luckily my son's carseat is on the passenger side, there is a huge dent (pics later) & the door doesn't open well & my door pops open funny so I think the frame might be bent there a bit & also the force of the hit may have bent the rim on that side because now it rides a bit rough between 25-35 mph even though he didn't hit the rim or tire at all. The guy seemed to be a little drunk & before the officer got there he went back inside the american legion & came back out 5 mins after the officer got there. the officer told me he might not be able to get him on DUI because he might have had a drink while inside which makes the officers job harder to do. The old guy got ticketed for failure to yeild, they may have got him down the street after he left, I don't know. He was driving a 07 Ford Focus, just his right front hit me & he only got scratches & scuffs but mine got f**ked. Called both INS. companies & made the claims now just waiting, I have an appointment tomorrow at a collision place to get an estimate to see how much it's going to cost.
My son & I are OK, my shoulder & neck is a bit sore but it might be the stress, if they happen to total this car I will not be done doing projects for a long time but I hope they don't. I am mad to say the least.

I wouldn't think they would total it over that, but I don't know. Since you're a junkyard junkie that door could be easily replaced


the most important part is that you and your son are okay, doors and cars are replaceable. I would ask the collision place if the frames are bent up and ask to see where, if they say no then I would def replace the door yourself and save a bundle. even if the one you get is the wrong color just sand it down and rattle can it for the time being

Thanks guys, I have a guy I'm going to trade PC work for body repair, he told me to just get the estimate & see what the cost is going to be, have the ins company issue me a check, get a replacement door & he will paint the car & remove the dents for $300 & my services, I might still have money left over, we will see tomorrow when the adjusters call from both ins companies.

Im looking to get a civic si sedan. And Im interested in what year is best. I know this might start a slight debate but I know there has to be facts that make one year better then another. Also whats a good website for aftermarket parts? Are these cars easy to lower? I want it to be tucking or close to tuckingwhat coilovers are best? Thanks.

UPDATE

I went to Master Collision today & estimate with deductable is $1526, they say my car is worth NADA $4000, good news is they don't want to total my car. Here are some pics I took of damage that was pointed out to me & I didn't know about because I didn't want to open the door & take a chance it would not close again.

The old guys insurance is going to cover it completely with no out of pocket for me but I was told on the phone that they might total it out because of how old it is so I'm not letting that happen & I'll let my company handle it so I can get it back faster. Also been feeling sore & stiff in my neck & under my shoulder blade, more today than yesterday, still hoping it's just stress but I put in a claim to get checked just in case.

Me too, that guy on craigslist that I want to barter services with says he can do this kind or work, I know where to get the parts so I'll figure it all out this week.

Its good you went ahead and put in a claim to get checked out it could be 6 months from now and your back really hurt and it would be hard to go back and say it was his fault if you wait a really long time.

So in other unrelated car news, my PS3 is going in for repair, the Bluray drive is not working, my wife wanted to watch a movie on the PS3 & it would not read the disc, tried a different disc & the drive seemed like it was making a loud clicking sound then nothing, the system would lock up & I had to remove power just to get the disc out again, so no Gran Tourimo 5 for me for awhile, can't even pretend to drive a car, lol, I better hit the lotto after this streak of bad luck.
