b18 and turbo if you want to wreck some people. I agree with keeping it, it's clean as fck. Just save up for the time being. It'll probably last you a good 100,000 miles more if you take care of it, and u can save up for a swap in the meantime. No need to rush it.

How much do you think im looking at investing if i get a good b18/b20 engine with a turbo?

b20 can be had for about 4-800 and b18 for about 800-1200 depending on how well you source them (but dont quote me :what: ) si or gsr trans will run about 4-600 dollars. then look to spend about 2-3k on building the engine and buying the turbo parts then another 2-500 on tunning. so all together anywhere from 4-8k all together.

well since youre in cali you're gonna have to deal with smog, carbing and a s*** load of other paper work to go through so im not sure but you can legally do it. MistaJuice (the guy who also posted in this thread) did a b18 swap in his eg almost a year ago i believe and he lives in cali too, i think he'd be happy to answer a couple questions if you pm him.

The price of a car depends on more than just what kind of lights it has and the engine it has. Remember, the average car buyer will never modify their car.

And no need for 2 threads. Merged with your other one.

You probably wouldnt get very much for it unless you sold it to another enthusiast who knows what he wants. It looks really clean and has a lot of potential, but like John said your average buyer doesnt look at potential.

I say keep it. Save up and maybe in a year you can throw in a GSR swap or something and create a really fun little daily driver.

OMIGAAAAD. I would kill for this. It's so clean and has so much potential. You better keep it.

If you sell this, you will endure a death that involves fire ants and honey.

:D

I think u should keep it..clean hatches are hard to find and with a little money and "E" for effort you can have a nice clean car thts fun to drive and can kick the $h!t out of who ever ur racing.
