This is actually kinda crazy.

I've never seen a group of people joining together and donating time and resources to help a cause like this. Mad props guys. Keep up the the work.

My grandma has alzheimers and had 2 brain aneurysms in '10.

It hits a soft spot that a bunch street racers are doing this with no reward.

Thanks guys.

A lot of members on our team have had some experience with alzheimers, cancer etc and it encourages us to go on. But we also can get quite competitive too, you should see some of the threads that appear when 2 people are trying to pass each other on the leader board

ClubCivic actually has a pretty solid history of helping out people / good causes. Another one of the reasons why I love this forum.

Not only does F@H help science and medicine, it's good at burning in video cards and stress testing your UPS to its limit!

I changed my team info.

Strangely, my points per day seems to have changed today.. Yesterday it said my estimated points per day was around 20,000. Today it says 6700. Any idea why there is such a drastic change?

Are you running both GPU and SMP jobs? Mine is saying PPD of 41,826 running 3 jobs. Also, if you are using your pc for other things it will lower your rate. Since opening firefox mine dropped to 39k

Yes, using GPU and SMP. I have 3 jobs running. Nothing else opened, started the computer, and started FAH. That's it.

Well if you didn't change any settings between yesterday and today, I think you just happened to glimpse the PPD when one of your slots was idle.. maybe saving a job or downloading a new one. Keep a hardware monitor program open and you can see precisely what's going on.. when the cores are loaded and when their idling or partially loaded.

Nice work Billy :D What hardware are you working with there?

As Billy said maybe it was in between work units. Also, depending on the work unit you get some give a higher ppd per day than others. If it's still acting up let us know and we'll get you sorted. Also, what hardware are you using as well?

Thank you all for joining the race. The guys on the team are very grateful =)

We are all very grateful, no doubt. It helped Overclockers.com win the race, but most importantly, crunch some science in hopes of finding cures for diseases. If you guys need help with anything, please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Thanks again CC.

Yea, still low. I check my cpu regularly, and it's always 100% loaded. That first day it was significantly higher, never went back up since.

I'm on an overclocked i5 2500k (4.8GHz), 8 GB RAM, AMD 7970 GPU

A big thank you to you guys for coming to our aid!! all round!

You guys are more than welcome to join Team32 on a permanent basis and fold under your own names and see if you can stick it to some of the top folders on our team ;) We'd love to have you guys on board.

Oh and here is the prize we get to display, the priceless Jaded Monkey

The only thing I would suggest is uninstalling f@h and reinstalling the client following the setup guidlines on the website. You could always run the f@hcontrol client for just the cpu, and run a seperate f@hgpu client for the 7970.
