Started by cutting out the back of the bed to get it down on the ground. Gotta come down about 5 1/2".
Then cut out the front support to bring the front down...
Getting closer. Now have to section 1 1/2" out of the body panel to match the body lines
First cut
Closer
Thats better. Now gotta plate the bottom and sheet the top and gusset the mounts and fully weld it and mount a gas tank. Blah blah blah. So much s**t to do...
Oh man s**t is looking fantastic Chris! Damn I wish I was closer......I'd be all over helping you out. I know you said u wasn't thinking bout a color till the day it goes to the paint booth but damn a deep candy burnt orange would look sick.......that's just my opinion. Keep it up brother. Hope all is well on the home front. Hit me up anytime.

well i got a bit done today after work.
It seems like i got more done than the pictures show, but i guess i really didnt.
It was so damn hot. But anywho, heres some pics!
I mocked up where i wanted to put my fuel cell and started brainstorming how to mount it...
i was gonna x brace it fir support but i want this tank to be removeable if it needs to be removed
This is what i came up with for a cradle for the fuel cell.
Squared up and tacked together
Cross bars for fuel cell welded up
From the top
All bolted up.
Now i just have to mount it to the fram or the bottom of the bedfloor. Havent fully decided. Then install my walbro and figure out a filler neck and run fuel lines.
