yesterday and today work has been insane. not only do i already have a never-ending to do list, but then new 'hot" issues come up out of nowhere that management wants me to tend to. i have to put aside my to do list to go take care of that s**t. and then later on in the week management will be bugging me, "how come you didn't get all of your stuff done?"

Ya we went to Denver without the kids over the weekend, but that doesnt get s**t done around the house.
Theres so much to do around here plus a truck that hasnt been touched in months that needs built...
I left work early today. Went to the gym and now imma do some stuff around the house until i have to go bsck to work for a safety meeting at 4.
Im hoping i wont gave to go out on many jobs this week sobi can get caught up, but that will never happen.

All too familiar. My boss assigns me like 6 tasks. I get them all done. She assigns me another, but I'm waiting on her to follow through with her end of it. She doesn't. I remind her that we need to get it done. "Yeah I know, I've got a lot to deal with right now."... okay...
Yesterday, she asks "why isn't that task done? I assigned it to you 2 weeks ago".. f**king REALLY!?

I work very hard and try to play hard also.
My family is very important and i want my kids to have nice things. My job is very up and down and all of the work is in North Dakota right now, so i go there to make the big bucks.
Sure it sucks, but everyday i just wake up and tell myself to man the fück up! Its never as bad as u think its gonna be and in hindsight it is never really bad at all.
As long as Melissa and the kids r still home when i get back then thats all that matters.
BOT today im planning on working in the garage and cleaning around the house. Ive got a police officer coming over today to do a vin inspection on the rhd civic so i can get it registered finally.
Going to try and make it to the gym also and i want to take the kids out to dinner since im going to miss the first day of school.
