Everyone is so overwhelmed by the thought of fixing something, that they dont even try...

People are so used to the if it breaks just buy a new one mentality.

I'm pretty handy, but our property management is insane. They tried to blame us for breaking a door latch, when I'm the one who fixed it... so I don't mess with anything anymore, I just tell them. We did get the garbage disposal fixed, and I fixed my dishwasher as well. w00t.
