Perma-friend-zoned. Ouch. I feel for the dude (although I handle things very differently haha).
I made it clear to this chick I was interested. She let me take her out, buy her s***, take her to concerts etc. She led me on, then went and started seeing a dude from a band I may try out for. Burned. In return, I just cut her off, and don't talk to her anymore. That s*** sucks, but if you've been up-front with dude, it's his own fault.

Anywho, back to the car. What can you get him? Short shifter, shift boot, arm rest delete (if he likes it) etc. Just little stuff.

Like I said, it's a long story. I do have feelings for him and I've told him so. I've been SUPER upfront and brutally honest with him. I just don't think I'm mature enough to have a relationship with him because him and I get along SO well I feel like it would last a long long time.

Anyway. Like I said, he's building that motor. And is still getting parts for it. I was thinking about getting one of his parts for him. He hasn't picked up his block yet (which is getting sleeved at Benson in Idaho). Has a cage he hasn't picked up. He seriously has so much s**t already, I'm just lost.
And GIVING me a Sparco, getting me awesome low rails and installing it for me while I'm at work while I had no idea.... that's hard to beat. I cried when I saw it.

Sounds like the real issue is you aren't interested in a committed relationship right now
Not to say there's anything wrong with that, you have to do what's best for you, but really re-evaluate your situation. Opportunities like that don't come along often. I can tell you from experience, that having a best friend relationship with the one you love makes a relationship ten times better. My ex was my best friend, my love, and my better half. You don't realize how important that is until you're trying to find it again...

Yeah, that's pretty insane. There's always parts in his build he's gonna need, and this gives you a lot of options. Maybe have his valve cover custom painted with something he'll really like? If he doesn't want to give you his, buy one and have it done, so he'll have two. I'd be so friggin stoked.

Eh. It depends on how far along/how serious the relationship is. I will start spending a lot of money if we are really into each other, and I see us having a future together. That's about it. As of now, I'm losing faith in women. Too many dumbass girls (no offense ladies) who chase down douchebags with face tattoos, no car, no job, and no future. Yet here I sit, buying a house next year, career in hand, making good money, and I get walked on. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I'm pretty down, and I tend to do this s**t to myself. I don't know. But I'm going back into "eat s**t" mode lol.

Come to find out she was diagnosed as 'mildly psychotic' and prescribed Haldol for it . She hid it from me the entire time, along with bulimia and a self-harm habit). I was young and naive, and the whole ordeal really messed me up. Took me a few years to really be able to trust someone else at all. I end up with my ex for 2 and a half years, and was absolutely in love with her. She died in 2010, and it's taken it's toll on me. Maybe I'm just too hard on myself. I do best when I cool it, and just do what I do. And I know I need to do that again. I never gave myself time to heal from the whole thing...

Anyway, enough about me. I still say have a valve cover painted! If not that, you could always pay for his tune (if you can shell out the moolah)!

Yep, mine was bi-polar as well. Her mom ended up telling me all of this. Feel bad for her mom, she was a sweetheart...

It's okay, time is slowly helping to heal. It's something I'll carry with me the rest of my life, but I know I have to continue on with my life. It's what she would want. She'd be mad as hell if I wallowed in my own self-pity for a long time. Hell, she'd be mad that I'm so down right now

LOL Oh man. I lived with a redhead a while back. She was married to a buddy of mine. Both of them were... open with their sexuality. Saw her naked more times than I'd like. She was cute, but yeah. My buddy's wife. Not cool haha.

Woke up late, washed my wheels, ate pizza for lunch. I'm about to leave for work. I hope I see at least one of the few cute girl co-workers tonight. I'm in a blah mood. On a positive note, I got an interview for a full-time position with my company on Friday. A new store is opening next year and I know a ton of people applied for positions but not everyone gets an interview.
