On the driving slow i just have no care of doing so. I dont want to have fear of ohh now i may bottom out on this bump. I like driving a tad bit over the speed limit lol. For security wow come on now people you think someone would have all this money invested and not have security in place. Their is no reason for him to tell come up with your own ideas (kill switch, remove steering wheel, remove wheels, etc). I really wish you would hurry and just drop everything in for a look see.

Hey Kerry, I hate to ask this "again"( I know you explained it once) but what's the difference between ekk1 and ekk2 k swap mounts and their purpose for this difference? I am completely on the fence about what eng/trans/ecu to commit to in spring and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about both b/k swap pros and cons. Thank you sir.

I plan to snag something kinda pricey off of my list of parts. I'm sticking to my plan of getting the expensive pieces and working my way down to cheap parts. I keep seeing people who have kpro as a last item so the entire swap sits around for ages to come up with and expendable grand. I'd rather be like 20-30 bucks here and there and be done.

I haven't really taken pics with the mirrors but i might do that soon. I've been lazy.

Ekk2 gives a better axle angle which allows you to put out more power without snapping crap. Better hood clearance, more room in front of the engine for other intake manifolds, more clearance under the car as well so you're not sitting a yard off the ground to not scrape. Also using the ekk2 with the necessary eg/dc subframe, you get a quicker turning ratio.

Changing the rear mount and the two holes in the passenger side mount make all the difference in the world.

That's why i went with these. Saw tons of people with the type1's and it sort of became lame to me. These are kinda Zonda shaped. I actually have a larger area of view too so it works out.

how anal does someone have to be to look out for mirrors on a civic?

i think they look silly and out of place. :twocents: mostly the mounting bracket that they stick to. since the stock mirrors took up so much space and went with the shape of the car. having that flat piece there with a mirror on a stick looks weird. from that angle at least.
