Like the direction you took with the wheel choice and bbk set up. like even more the fact that you stayed with the 4x100. I have two honda fits. one has an 11' type r set up on all four corners and i love it especially the way it looks behind the 949 racing 15x9 in the front and the 15x8 in the back. The other fit has a five lug conversion because its my daily and i want the bling factor on that lol. what i like even more is what you ended up doing of just ordering your own set of wheels from japan to your specs, best thing to do if you ask me. The only thing i would have advised and im not saying you didn't, was searching for the parts that would given you the 11' set up from oem honda parts, but the BBK looks great keep up the good work.

Simply put, I don't like the look of oem brake components and I wanted more than one or two pistons. I don't need ultimate brake balance or to scrape my change together and stay under a budget, so a simple overpowered kit with a lil bit of bling factor works for me. I guess you could say my goal is to be pretty good all around. Not great, but pretty damn good.

I know exactly what you mean. That is why i have my eyes set on a pair of TL-S calipers for the front on both fits lol OEM bling if you will. Depending on when i purchase them this set up could end up being a bit more cost effective for my application.

I like where your going on this that is why i subscribed.
In no way am i criticizing your choice of parts. Text has a limited communication capacity.

I actually have a build thread on here for a California EM1 but it has been neglected recently due to Track fit and daily fit needing some love.

I forgot to ask you some questions.

Where did you get the plate to mount the magical racing mirrors?

why did you switch the dip stick i think the orange one contrasted the VC very nicely? Im guessing its because you will be using a RSX oil pan?

Is the hondacheapparts.com thing for real? A complete head and block at that price?

keep the good work:D

The backing plate for the mirrors were bought from icb motorsports. They are just civic type R mirror block off plates.
I switched the dipstick just to have a more rare civic type R dipstick. I like the black with black chrome.

I go through Honda parts cheap for a lot of OEM pieces. They are legit just like majestic Honda. I got my head and block from hmotorsonline.

The list is bigger than i expected, it also made me realize im missing a few things on my list! haha TPS and Map sensor opened my eyes, also forgot you picked up a short block, for some reason i was thinking it was a long block all this time...oh well, guess it will be that much FRESHER than mine...:new_slayer:

It is a longblock. A shortblock would just be the block by itself. Longblock is a head and block. My list is big but a large portion of it consists of parts that are under $100 brand new. Also, some are just nit-picky parts.

SPooN

hybrid-racing cold air intake

Hybrid-racing clutch line

Hybrid-racing engine grounding kit

As with most Spoon products, this wheel is much lighter than my Personal Grinta wheel I was using. Feels great.

Hope you peeps had a good Christmas!

What condition is that old wheel in?
The wheel itself is great, the suede is nearly all gone though. So it's like plain used steering wheel now. it's good enough to say that i had no intention of getting another wheel sometime soon.
