You can check it out and see how bad the damage was and if the frame is still good and straight
$3500 for a real em1 isn't that bad
the VSS and hood cable shouldn't be a hard fix, but since none of us are actually there it'll have to be all you and how it feels when you drive it.

Looks decent to me and that's a fair price in my opinion.
Just look for the obvious things like oil / fluid drips under the engine, noises, make sure it drives straight, shifts smooth in all gears, doesn't smoke, etc.
Know how many miles are on it?

I personally would go for it man, your insurance may be high but it looks good, make sure it doesn't have frame damage though.

whatevers the best, I got a job at subwat haha, well my moms buying the car, pays gas, pays insurenace/ i have no bills so every paycheck ill put it into this thing. I want it to be quick without turboing it.

Honestly dont want to sound like a d**k but, no that thing looks like a piece and too much work...start from scratch but pay your own way learn the hard way that will make you care for your car more such as, pay insurance, gas, other thing's take a load off your mom from having to pay more thing's bro...You'll find a good deal somewhere else and a better swap you can do yourself knowing exactly what happened to that car and is wrong with it, you will be jumping into something you have no idea about the previous things that have happened to the car.
