So Saturday night I rode in an ambulance for the first time in my life. I was working a night shift and the later it got the worse I started to feel. I got lightheaded, dizzy, had diarrhea, all that good stuff. It got to the point where my arms and legs started tingling really bad and I felt numb. The last thing I remember was walking to the door to lock it and then I woke up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. My coworkers had been waiting outside for me to lock up and said they became worried when I didn't come outside so they came looking for me and found me laying on the floor unconscious, surrounded with vomit.

So after an overnight hospital stay and a ton of blood work, cat scans, etc, they concluded that I was severely dehydrated and had gastroenteritis (stomach flu). I spent the majority of yesterday sleeping, and I'm feeling a lot better now but I'm still getting real dizzy the more I move so I'm just taking it easy.

I've never collapsed or passed out before, so I'm still pretty shaken over the whole thing. I absolutely HATE not having any recollection of what happened but I guess it is what it is.

So.. Just thought I'd share my weekend with you guys.

Fixing coolant leak from crushed heater core pipe (PITA) and timing, then remove transmission to install helicoils in the stripped trans mount holes wooooooooooo SUMMER C'MEEERREEE.

Damn, man! That's scary as hell!! Were you not drinking water or anything? Kind of weird that you'd get severely dehydrated out of nowhere.

Went to a pretty rad brewery in Orange County called The Bruery on Saturday. Had a beer that tastes like straight up Warheads candy. Really weird and sour, but good!
Did an oil change and tune up on the Civic on Sunday. Also, lost my passenger sideskirt on the freeway on Saturday. Don't know how that happened

Damn, man! That's scary as hell!! Were you not drinking water or anything? Kind of weird that you'd get severely dehydrated out of nowhere.

Apparently with this illness all of the diarrhea and vomiting dehydrated me immensely and I had been drinking water as much as I could, but the doc told me that drinking just plain old water wasn't a good choice that it was actually diluting the few electrolytes I had left in my system. So needless to say I've been drinking pedialite and Gatorade while I recover. I gotta go back to work tomorrow and I don't really feel up to it. Hoping it'll be a slow day.

Just got back from working at my old coffee stand. It feels good to work there again

Now going to send my resume to that job at Tesla, maybe go get the El Camino from my grandpas, then the mall with the boyfriend.

Changing and alternator belt bruised and cut my arm up, and gave me sunburn. Where'd spring go? It was almost 80 degrees today. They want high 70's all week.
