Regardless of all y'all's opinions on neons this dude shares a common interest with us all. Modifying cars. Just because its not the car we would choose doesn't make his matter any less. Everyone has their opinions.

40$ a day I thought you made 8.50 an hour? Either you gotta be working around 5 hours or your checks are getting cut to s**t.
That's after taxes but yeah a regular shift at my work is 4-close. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays we close at 8. So that's only 4 and a half hours typically. Mondays I work 12-close and Saturdays I work 2-close. We close at 9 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Oh no way, you mean a car designed to be a gas sipping, no frills grocery getter doesnt break s**t as often as my SRT? Well f**k me running I had no idea that was the case.
I believe that 99% of vehicle's reliabilty lies with the owner, so I am not afraid to own a vehicle that will require a little more attention than others. Especially if that vehicle is designed with performance in mind, and will inherently have the piss driven out of it. I stick around here because some folks on here are pretty level headed, and I can even disagree with some and have an inteligent debate over almost anything. I also do not mind helping others with their vehicles no matter what make, which I seem to do on this forum more than about 90% of the active members here. You three can keep talking s**t, but it just shows how narrow minded some of you are.
What about the normal POS neons that are designed to compete with civics? I also had that mindset that I could take on any car no matter the horror stories. Then I got a 96 Pontiac Grand Prix coupe then I was all just like f**k that piece of s**t. I am pretty open minded I can just recognize s**t when I see it. I'm just saying neons in general are unreliable as f**k. I'm not saying yours is I was just agreeing or adding to what someone else said. No need to get butt hurt though it's all just a facts, you can't change it.
Oh trust me, I am in no way upset by what transpired here. If I was, it would of been blatantly obvious. I can't account for your car experiences, only mine. I've seen plently of high mileage neons, plenty of high mileage everything and they had one thing in common, it was only due to the owner's proper care. Do not get me wrong, I wouldnt own a regular Neon over a Civic. I am just saying when it comes to a situation where you deem a vehicle unreliable it seems to be a negligence of owner issue.

but the owner does not build not even1% of that car, owner doesn't build any percent of that car. A person buys the car and hopes for the best. imo the job of a brand new car owner is to maintain the car and not neglect it. what about recalls? defectiveness from the factory. that is something that the owner will never have control over.
