I loved Semisonic - Closing Time back in the day. They have a song called Secret Smile that I like a lot.
I watched that Fast & Loud show last night (on Discovery, it's actually pretty rad). Dude's were restoring a Ferrari F40 that had been totaled. $400k for the car, $200k in parts and labor. The damned front hood/fenders were $35k! Now THAT'S insane.That's cheap for a super car. Especially with tires. Just placed an order for a guy's 911. He wanted new wheels to run as a summer set. $1025 PER wheel. Total came to right around $6000 before mount/balance and tax. Going to be something like $6800 out the door.

I used to like Nirvana. USED to. That is all they play on the rock station here most of the time. It's that and Jimmy Hendrix over and over. It got old really fast.
If you know anything about Kurt or read anything about him there is no doubt that he killed himself. He was emo before emo was even a common phrase. He was extremely bi-polar. That and his wife is a disgusting nasty lady. They fought constantly and they both were loaded on MANY drugs 24-7. He was highly addicted to heroine and had overdosed at least once (Courtney actually hit him with a needle of some anti-overdose drug to bring him back to life after he overdosed before a concert). It was either die from an overdose or kill himself with a gun (which apparently is common in his family!). There was a very high amount of heroine in his body at the time of his death from what I read. His death wasn't his first attempt at suicide, it was just the one that "landed".
Yes, Courtney read parts of the suicide note out loud at the funeral. There was a big uproar about it at that time.

Crazy. I "like" nirvana. Songs like.. Come as you are, lithium, smells like teen spirit, heart shaped box, etc. are great. Songs like "rape me" are retarded. Lol

I remember reading that Dave Grohl said it was sad but he knew Kurt was going to die at a young age. He said "you can't save some people, even from themselves" or something along that line. I think those around Kurt knew that it was coming sooner or later. A LOT of musicians tried to help him when he was at the end. One of those being Neil Young who said that it really f**ked with him (his words) when he read that Kurt quoted his song in his suicide note.
Crazy fact: Kurt was one of the many musicians that have died at the age of 27. Few of the more famous ones being Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison. Most of the 27 Club died from drugs and/or alcohol.
