well I guess she was looking for the right time to tell me...I felt like I knew it was going to happen but not yesterday...I expected it to happen a while from now but things happen and time moves on so I guess I have to move along with it.

I'll just get through this by putting in extra work for my next project! sucks that I wont have someone to put a smile on my face when im stumped with it or help me, or being their to hand me things while im under the car....or bring me lemonade...damn this sucks.

Building credit takes time. Paying a loan quick is actually raising flags to lenders. Also, if you're opening lines of credit within 12 months of buying a home, typically you won't qualify....esp if you're wanting to build credit. We want to see existing, open and welll maintained lines for at least 12 months.

I also make 100-120k a year and planned on putting 50-60k as my down payment on a house in a year plus paying most my school off

Lol you don't make that much, sorry. Maybe in a few years you will. Having said that, being a part of a bank for however many years and working for whomever has nothing to do with lenders. We can give a s**t less. Federal guidelines prevent favoritism, and you will be leant to in the same manner as someone else making money.

I've never over drafted in probably at least 10 years. While it helps, it has nothing to do with credit. It just shows banks that you might possibly drain your account to .01 but you'll make sure you don't go negative. But lenders will also need 12 months bank statements and 12 months rental history as well. If yiu can't provide rental history, that's where 3 open trade lines are mandatory.

Lenders need 3 open, active trade lines for at least 12 months to ensure you the best rate and program.

Also, with your job being so new, I would never advise a client of mine to purchase. Especially if you lose your job abd you're stuck with a payment the next job can't cover.

And Kelly, I talked to Matt and he was saying that they may not let me do a loan because I have none. But when I talked to the salesman he said it wouldn't be a problem because it would be such a small amount to pay off it wouldn't be an issue.
