Installed my steering wheel last night again. Actually figured out how to get the click wheel working with it too. Had an issue with the shifter. One of the bolts was rusted and the threads were messed up so it kept skipping when I tried to back it out. I put the stock shifter back in for now since the bolt was the shifter plate bolt that holds the stabilizer to the frame. I might rip it back apart tomorrow and try something else to get it apart. I'll have to go buy new bolts from honda and hopefully I can clean the threads in the hole or find someone with a tap and rethread them.

Got dat paisa wheel on there ;)

Sucks about the sifter, but at least you had OEM to fall back on!

Still would look better without the magnets...
Agreed. I hate those magnets, not gonna lie lol. Your car though, rock em if you want!

Just picked up my bolts for my shifter, and running down to philly to get a shift knob and strut bar. Probably gonna pick up an alternator from someone and gonna get my cap and rotor and hopefully wires next week. Also, the steelies will no longer be on the car in a week or two ;)

My brother is giving me his fat fives so whenever I can swap my tires onto his wheels, I'll finally have decent wheels for this car. I'm thinking of painting them black or white, or just polishing them up. (They're incredibly dirty)

Don't paint them! Unless you're going to take them somewhere to have them painted professionally DO NOT paint them! Spray paint does not belong on wheels! Just polish them.

Got a couple things for the car.
First, skunk2 shift knob.

I also got a free front strut bar with it, but don't have pics of that.

Picked up my bolts for my shifter so I can finish my bushing job. Decided to just continue using the stock shifter.

And then random pics of Dominick and me at the car wash.

And I parked next to this when I went to Acura.

I didn't want someone to get mad at me for taking a picture so I took it while I was in the car. The knob is so nice. It's got a nice weight to it so shifting is lot smoother. When I install the bushings today, it'll be even better and then whenever I get a short shifter it'll be perfect.

So, back to more frustration with this shifter. The stabilizer plate has flat top bolts that go through the top and are welded to the plate, and the nut goes on through the bottom. Well, I believe the welds rusted through which is why the nut wont come off. It just spins freely with the bolt. I don't have a welder so ATM I just have to deal with it. However, I did get something done today.

My free strut bar.

There's no way because there's no access to the top of the plate.

Please don't paint the 5s. Just polish them. Man I love that oem wheel.

Have fun frying the ever living f**k out of your hand with the knob. I do it every summer and I have ac and 3% tint all around. And it's so cold it hurts in the winter. But I do love it anyhow.
Oh. And please get the ring for your boot! God that looks awful. Or be ghetto and zip tie beneath so tight it won't fall.

I'm not sure I'm gonna even get them. I don't have the money to buy tires for them. Yeah, I already experienced this yesterday, hot as hell, but I love the look and feel of it. Can I get the collar at Honda? I'm gonna look for it.

I don't know about where you're located, but around me we have a lot of discount used tire places. Usually about 25 a tire. So 100 a set. That's mounted and balanced. Worth a shot

Yeah there's plenty around here but I have to figure out how much I'm putting away for school since I only have three more paychecks left and I'd like to start out with a couple hundred for emergency gas and stuff.

I think that's a smart move. If the tires are ok currently, just keep that money. Oh man.....freshman. you will blow money so fast wven when you say you won't. And somehow you'll be flat broke but still get things.

Sometimes I miss college.....

thats where experience comes in to play, and did you take out your center console stuff when doing this?

electric tape works also. mark where it needs to rest and wrap the s**t out of shifter there
