like the Corolla. I see a guy around here driving one, think he's the original owner. Looks to be in about the same shape as the one you posted. Always thought they were cool looking little cars

I wanna eventually do something like an SR20 swap.

why not stay with Toyota engine? SR20 would be cool, no doubt, but so would a 2jz 6 cylinder, or even a 4age from a Trueno

6 cylinder would be difficult. 4AG-E not so much, but good luck finding the T50 transmission to go with it. They're hard to find and not cheap. I'd really just like to get it running first lol

Well, I got my coupe back yesterday. The idiots who stole it were apparently driving it, because a bunch of their crap was in it. They also smoked a bunch in it so it's full of ash. They broke the center console to replace my radio with their own. The trim around the steering column was broken where they hotwired it. Well technically they didn't hotwire it, they hammered a key into the ignition to break the lock. They also replaced the SRI with a different one, and put a blue billet oil cap on it. It was also full of tools. Hammers, a jack, screwdrivers, some leathermans, and some other stuff. Also got a free bottle of cologne lol. I've put too much money in the car already, and I don't feel like putting more into it, so I'm thinking about parting it out and swapping the D16Y8 from it into my wagon for a little more pep. Should be a pretty simple swap. It will bolt straight up to the tranny in the wagon, and the only thing I'll have to do is wire it up to swap from OBD0 DPFI to OBDII MPFI. Fortunately it's a common enough swap that you can buy conversion harnesses for it.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I got a personalized plate on the way. It probably won't get here till next month sometime, but I'll post it up when I get it.

You're right, of course. Pretty much anything for that 4AGE is going to be expensive. Not like SR20DETs are cheap either. Cool you finally recovered the Civic. My brother had a 93 hatch stolen TWICE. The first time, had decent wheels. recovered pretty quick, don't think anything actually got taken. 2nd time, was bone stock on steelies. Recovered a few days later, stripped pretty good. Not even worth the impound fee, he just let it go

Well the wagovan's clutch is starting to slip, so I went ahead and ordered an Exedy OEM replacement. Hopefully it lasts til I can replace it lol

Thanks man!

In other news, besides the clutch going out, sometimes the car is just dying when I get down to low revs, or when I start it it starts then immediately dies. I have to start it and give it some gas to keep it from dying. I'm not really sure what would be causing this, but I've heard that the ignition switch can go out after time and cause somewhat similar issues.

Any ideas?

Clutch replacement parts are all incoming. Hopefully I'll be able to do it this weekend.
