Sprayed WD-40 on the cylinder walls and wrapped up the motor to keep air and moisture out. Ordered some more parts for it yesterday (Connecting pipe, o-rings, cam seals, oil pump o-ring) That should be everything to complete the shortblock except golden eagle sandwich plate and vibrant timing belt tensioner. Also got synchrotech carbon rebuild kit on the way with a differential ball bearing conversion. Now my parts list is down to upgrading some more parts on the head and getting my fuel injectors/pump.

New transmission and my rebuilt turbo are both in the mail! Taking my head to get checked out tomorrow, need to get this thing rolling it's almost f**king May!

They average about $65k for a 2010-2012 Black Edition. This will be a year or two down the line, but I'll start saving for a hefty down right now. I legit might actually be able to do this.. we'll see haha. I know that sounds like a lot, but some stuff may change considerably with my life/income. Gotta chase that paper!

that's really what it's about. And if you know how to save and are good at it. pffff
But I'm not a fan of gtr, like a fat pig of a car. Things are massive and paddle shifting is gay. I'd buy a new m3 first or r8
