Scooter recommendations for wife

Offered to buy my wife a scooter for our anniversary this year, and she is down with it. I showed her the honda ruckus, but she didn't really dig it. Does anyone have any recommendations for scooters?

she previously had a euro style type chinese scoot, so maybe something along those lines. i know that chinese scooters were lacking in quality back when i was in the motorcycle/scooter scene, but i imagine they've probably gotten better at cloning the GY6.

If she didn't suck at clutch control and shifting i'd just get her a honda Grom and call it good, but that's not gonna happen.

yeah thats exactly what i wanted to do, in fact i found a couple locally with a gy6 already in them.

she just doesn't like the ruckus though and wants something more along the traditional euro style

I don't know how reputable of a brand it is but I see one around town that says VIP on it. Looks very similar to the one you posted

yeah from what i'm seeing there are so many asian clones out there that there doesn't seem to be much variation. which makes things difficult.

are those really worth the extra money? i've never ridden on one myself, so i can't say. i'd imagine there is a hipster tax on them so they command higher prices lol

i dunno bout other brands but honda has 2 motorcycles with automatic transmissions.

Helly yeah, aprillas are sick. they seem to be pretty sparse stateside though
