Autocross today!
I posted a bunch on snapchat hahaha.No pics? :O
The event was sponsored by the BMW SCCA, so it makes senseJeez every other car was a bimmer out there
Because cock.
I love days like those. I don't do it often because I'm less productive and I deal with a lot of other employees here (help desk).Working from home today (programmer). Glad too because the weather is s***ty.
Programming in the workplace is more fun than doing at school. There's the money for one thing.I hate programming. Not my cup of tea.
It was a workstation machine, so no, no scheduled backup to remote server on that one. I got a new HDD in it and re-imaged it the same day. It's up and running much better now, but the old HDD is un-responsive. It doesn't even seem like it's spinning up. I get to attempt to retrieve data off of it today, but I'm not sure if I can. We'll see.Is it a virtual machine? Any tape or disc backups? Sucks either way you look at it.
Boss is out of the office for the next 1.5 weeks. Went and applied for my conceal carry during lunch since nobody was there to care. Came home and cleaned my gun since I fired 300 rounds at the range over the weekend. Time for some Netflix.
Sounds like my situation. I came in when they fired their last Systems Admin. I'm a one-stop IT solution for this company, which is now a medium-sized company, and requires at least 2-3 techs. I manage, but it's b/s, and they don't pay me near enough.I took over IT for a place that had nothing before me and needless to say it's a mess. They're a pretty close group of people, kinda like family thing goin on so they come and go as they please. I decided to have a nice long coffee sit before going in today and seeing the crap, I think I'll leave early too haha.
Maybe my exhaust manifold studs will have come in and I can swap that today!
I dont mind it, i just doubt i'd be able to get a job doing it. most of my experience is in the admin side of IT. i know some html/css but i don't think i could get too far with that lolI hate programming. Not my cup of tea.
