Well that was a game. Sloppy, but exciting.
Note to self.. Alex digs Porsches..
Well, there go my chances :P
Only because Porsche is owned by VW.

Oh, speaking of VW...haaaaaaaaaaaayyyy

You WOULD want an old man car :P may as well get a Corvette.
Ain't nothing wrong with a vette.

Mucho want. Or at least the powerplant of one.

Porsches are the s**t! If I could ever afford one... that would be my track car in a HEARTBEAT.

What!? If he's getting a Boxster I would make fun of it being an old man/mid life crisis car. But other than that, they're the s**t.

Then come over and take it

Give it some time, they'll grow on you. I wasn't a fan until I saw one in person and I was hooked.
And of course the only 7spd manual I've seen was that pancaked one in Miami

Nothing wrong with a powerful v8 that makes even more power very easily ;)

hey why was my midori build thread moved and how do i move it back to builds and projects
Please don't thread jack again. If you have a problem, bring it up in the problem section of the forum...or PM one of us moderators. This isn't the place for stuff like this.

You WOULD want an old man car :P may as well get a Corvette.
I have more customers that are middle aged than old. There are many younger guys driving these than one would think. Hell I have customers that are younger than you are.

Porsches are the s***! If I could ever afford one... that would be my track car in a HEARTBEAT.

There are more women driving Boxsters in this area compared to men. At least as far as our customers go. Caymans are more popular among men. The 981 (2013+) Cayman is a hell of a car. I would still take a 991 in a heartbeat but don't knock the new Boxster/Cayman line until you drive one.

As a daily first hand experience, I would NEVER own a 944, 928, 924, first gen boxster, first gen Cayenne, or a 996. The 80's models that I mentioned are all junk unless you find a very clean low mileage one and even then parts are discontinued all over the place. Getting really hard to find OEM parts for the 944's. First gen boxsters and Cayennes are junk and 90% of them are beat to s***. Tons of problems.

I would take anything in their line 997 and up. The 991 is a hell of a car and the PDK transmission in the latest generations is an absolutely amazing transmission. Hands down the 2014 Turbo S 991 is the fastest car I have ever driven. Scared the s*** out of me.

Went to stone mountain last night and watched the laser show. Good times

Not a great photo of me but whatever :P
So many memories of some 4th July's there! Whenever we wanted to get away from Asheville, we'd go to Stone Mountain.

Ordered a good amount of parts for the jeep today, this should be a quick build, I can't believe how cheap parts are. I bought new 15x8 wheels for 200 bucks

Also learned progress was made from the accident. Cars picked up and bein looked at finally

Just ordered up some wheel sealant and cleaner for the wheels. I asked a detailer what he recommended for keeping powder coated wheels clean. He recommended THIS sealant and THIS cleaner. Keeping white wheels clean is a pain!

Wondering if a d16y8 will work with a stock d16y7 wiring harness. Cause I have no time to rip everything apart!
Stock, no. With modifications, yes. Gotta wire up Vtec, knock sensor, etc. Depending on the year you might need to rewire IACV too. And of course, you'll need a new ECU, and some other stuff.

Feel free to make a thread in the tech section for tech questions / inquires :thumbs up

Doesn't have to technically wire In vtec but that doesn't take long. Rest I think was the same, b series was different? I know when you do y8 manifold you have to extend one of the sensors wires though

Not sure, when I switched from my mini-me to my LS motor I lost vtec. But I kept my stock y7 harness the entire time, so it became a mess lol.
