he mite be talking about the amber reflectors. to remove those you need to remove the front of the light.
or else you can paint them like some people have on here

yep, theres a how to on here. i bought black housing heads with the amber reflector already replaced with a clear one

well...i have the clear bulbs for the turn signals in combination with the clear reflector...i havent gotten any trouble for it because i have hyper white head lights, so the turns are still more amber than the main ones.
i got em for $125 at autosport addiction in norcal. a lot of people just paint theres, it works a lot cheaper that way and plus youll definitely have oem fit...which is something mine doesnt

I cleared my corners out of my 2000 Ex..it was easy it took 2 hours, start to finish, yes its illegal but it loooookks soooo much cleaner...here...
so if they are completly clear do u have amber bulbs or are the clear bulbs? what bulbs did you use?
Nope, I dont use amber bulbs...I use 1157 hyper white bulbs...they are slighty tinted blue and extremely bright...Never been hassled about it and have even used my signals at night infront of a cop...
that's surprising. 2kstreetcivic: where are you in cali that they don't bother with that? eminemslm0: how are the cops over in your state? that's all it depends on. i agree the clear/clean look is soo much better, but i've stuck w/ amber to save myself the hasle of the po's.
I live in the bay area, but I go to school in San Luis Obispo...I have never been hassled...as long as you arent being stupid, they tend to leave you alone
this is true. i'm at UCSC and unfortunately i have to go north at times where they're a little tougher and will pull you over for anything. yay for clean cars, but red sometimes catches the wrong eyes... you can understand. (my car looks exactly like yours (unfortunately i don't have pics up yet)). just trying to warn that clear corners are technically "illegal" and to keep it in mind when modifying.
