00 civic power sunroof

hey everyone any one have any idea whats goin on here, my sun roof is acting all kinds of weird it always pivots up never but never back down, or it usually never opens or closes it only opens and closes or pivots back down when it wants. I didnt think its the motor because when it does actually work it works good so idk so i replaced the switch but that didn't do it any input would be great.

aww man, those a pain too change or decently easy?

a pain, I believe the headliner has to be removed. Id check to make sure its that though first, but from that symptoms its sounds like it is.
